DEPARTURE:  Andrew Shea

It is with genuine disappointment that I announce the resignation of Complex Institute of Education’s (CIE) Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Shea.

With the imminent arrival of his first child, Andrew has decided to move away from his full time position to build on his exceptional reputation as a Compliance and Management Consultant. This move will to allow him, in the short term, to work with greater flexibility and spend quality time with his new baby.

With immediate effect, Andrew’s consultancy services will be engaged by CIE, through his company ARP Education Solutions, which will ensure that his deep understanding of organisational and quality assurance requirements will not be lost to CIE. This engagement will allow Andrew to remain as part of the CIE family, albeit in a different capacity.

Since joining the company in June 2010 Andrew has worked industriously and with great dedication. He has demonstrated high level transformational leadership capabilities and led the company on continued growth and success. Andrew’s leadership has been invaluable in the strategic and deliberate diversification of CIE's product and service offerings and has contributed to the expansion of the company, within Australia and Internationally. Andrew has been instrumental in CIE’s domestic success including its achievement as being recognised as the Victorian Small Training Provider of the Year 2014, an award that we are hopeful to win again in 2015 (as one of three current finalists).

We are extremely grateful for the immense contributions that Andrew has made to CIE’s maturation and achievements.  We wish him every success in, what I am sure will be, a very bright future. Until further notice I will be taking on the Chief Executive Officer duties and working closely with Andrew to ensure a smooth transition period occurs.

Best regards,

Peter Whitford
