Operations Manager

Mr Michael Whitford

Having been with Complex Institute of Education for several years in a variety of roles, Michael was appointed to the key position of Operations Manager in 2017.

Before joining CIE in 2011 Michael spent ten years in the United Kingdom in a variety of management roles in the building and hospitality industries where he gained invaluable experience in dealing with people, diverse cultures, organisational behaviour and the importance of creating an outstanding client experience.

Since joining CIE, Michael has time and again demonstrated acumen in labour management and communication skills. In his role, he is actively involved with all departments, and as part of the Senior Management Team, he is in constant consultation with the administration and staff alike regarding training space and the provision of quality trainers and equipment to always try and better the student experience. His ability to problem solve and expedite long term measures of improved practice is an asset to the Management Team and the organisation.

As part of the Executive Management Team Michael has provided robust discussion on projects and strategies which have provided a more 360-degree conversation to these meetings.
